We are currently looking for a business development manager to assist us in our business activities at SHIVAA NGO. 

Shri Hari Har Indian Village of Arts and Agriculture (SHIVAA) NGO is one of the oldest existing organisations in the tribal regions of Wada. We partake in different activities that revolve around our core principles, spiritualism and the upliftment of the villagers. Since inception, we have been working towards providing the villagers with the essentials like food, education and means of earning. 

Roles and Responsibilities 

  • Developing funding priorities and plans in line with strategic objectives. 
  • Prospecting new partnership opportunities and develop existing relationships 
  • Obtain new sponsorship for fundraising events, including securing gifts in kind 
  • Leverage engagement opportunities, including assisting with community events 
  • Construct a relationship pipeline and enhance all fundraising income streams 
  • Conduct prospecting visits to Organization’s Office to identify and prepare for upcoming funding opportunities. 
  • Represent the organization’s business development interests at relevant meetings, events, and within resource mobilization or donor-specific peer networks 
  • Contribute to the expansion of the organization’s consultant roster for key technical and bid preparation functions.

FARM SUPERVISOR AT WADA – 70 km from Mumbai (Food & Stay Facilities to be provided)

  1. Degree – BSE / Diploma- Horticulture with minimum 5+ years of experience on field doing farming activities.
  2. Coordination with administrative job on, land preparation, fertilizing, planting crops, cultivation, and harvesting of experimental feed crops.
  1. Plans and supervises the planting, cultivating, harvesting and storing of field and garden crops on large and complex institutional farms.
  2. Ability to Make reports on time of equipment, materials, and production list and prepares estimates of needs on farm before time & submits to manager.
  3. 5. Assist on farming and harvesting operations on field with local farmers. 
  4. Assist on land preparation, irrigation, fertilisation, pest and disease management.

  • Remove glasses and cups from all room ensure that there are always clean ones available.
  • Assist in any cleaning and household work, as required.

Reporting:

  • Ensure Operations Officer is informed of any problems that might be linked to the house as well as problematic kitchen items (e. g. broken, missing).
  • Ensure that no item is taken out of the kitchen without prior authorization.

Other Duties:

  • Replace empty dispenser bottle on the water dispenser machine.
  • Clean water filters for potable water on a regular basis and change them whenever necessary.
  • Ensure together with Operations Officer that all supplies related to cooking in the guest house are available on time i.e. matches, gas, cleaning items, etc.
  • Keep an inventory of all kitchen utensils, plates, glasses, cutlery, cookware, etc and report items missing or needing repairs to Admin Officer/Assistant.
  • Ensure that there is tea, coffee, milk and sugar available in the kitchen.
  • Know how to use a fire extinguisher and fire blanket and where they are located.
  • Be available to help the Operations Officer to organize parties and meetings.
  • Assist the Operations Officer to organize parties and meetings and guests.
  • Conduct himself/herself both professionally and personally in such a manner as to bring credit to SHIVAA and not jeopardize its humanitarian mission.

We need a skilled person to perform domestic services like cleaning and cooking at a professional level. As the job is physically demanding, being in good physical shape is a must.

Salary – As per experience start with 15k upto 25k if experience & at managerial level.

Timing – Full time start at campus.
